Nocturne by Angela Cameron

Title: Nocturne
Author: Angela Cameron
Publisher: Drollerie Press
ISBN:
Genre: Paranormal

A stormy night, a woman alone, lightning in the background on a dark forest road--what more could the paranormal fan ask for an opening in a story? How about a woman's body with the throat torn out lying in the road? Add one ex boyfriend who turns up just as Alyson Wingate discovers the body.

The ex boyfriend escorts Alyson home and insists on searching her house but won't tell her what he's looking for. He says the woman on the road wasn't killed by an animal.

Great sex and blood filled dreams are blended to the story to give it the flavor of mystery and horror and romance. Nocturne by talented author Angela Cameron crosses the boundaries of severall genres to produce a tale that will keep you reading while looking over your shoulder if you are alone in a house that makes any night noises.

Alyson is in for a few surprises and so is the reader as the plot unwinds. She is surprised by what she finds on a visit to the morgue to see the corpse. Wil had warned her.

This tale takes a scary turn for Alyson and her life is changed forever. It is a story that will keep you happily turning pages to see what happens next. Lots of suspense and interesting characters. A world that is fun to read about, but I wouldn't recommend a long visit that might become permanent.

Recommended for any fan of the dark side of life, anyone who enjoys a walk on the twilight side of our world. Enjoy. I did.
